How can I add Itach Flex to Control4 Composer Pro and send IR signals over it to control a particular device e.g. an AC unit?

YATUN Tech Support Just add the GC Universal Device driver from the Composer Pro online driver database.

Colin Sachs Is it supposed to support a 3 IR ports as individual ports? We have only managed to get it to work as all 3 ports being a single port.

Brian Kerth Hello Colin,
Yes, each port is individually addressable. Are you using a Flex with a Flex Link 3 port cable variation? Let us know your configuration and what errors that you are encountering and we can attempt to help.

YATUN Tech Support Hello guys,
the GC Universal Driver from Control4 in the online database does not support the Tri-Port cable. I have asked Control4 several times to update the driver.
I ended up creating a fixed version of the driver myself and posted it on the Control4 Dealer Forums: https://forums.control4.com/fb.aspx?m=322670

YATUN Tech Support How about my updated version? Have you tried that yet?

Brian Kerth Hello Lukas,
We have submitted an updated driver to Control4 recently for certification. They are in the process of validating it. Thank you for your updated driver as well. Stay tuned for when Control4 approves the new driver and adds it to Composer.

YATUN Tech Support Hi Brian,
that’s great! Can’t wait for the new driver!
Will you support Control4’s SDDP too? :)

YATUN Tech Support Hi,
how is the Control4 driver validation/certification process working out?
Best regards
