If your unit is not being detected by iHelp, it is likely that the unit is not fully up to date and does not currently contain the discovery protocol. By returning your unit to factory defaults, you should be able to access the configuration pages at 192.168.1.70 and configure the unit with a static IP address. I have linked the GC-100 default process below.

The GC-100 was designed and tested with Internet Explorer, so if you are having issues getting a setting to apply, you will want to try using IE to set those fields. If you continue to have issues, try a different browser, or even a different computer on the network. Another option would be to set the unit's settings with our testing utility and the direct TCP command which sets the serial parameters. The iTest utility is linked below, and the command you will need to use is the set_SERIAL command in the GC-100 API at the second link below.

Hello,
I have tried with internet explorer , same problem.
So i have tested with ihelp set_serial command but i have unknow command!!
I want so set serial 1 at 9600 baud .
This is my command : set_SERIAL,1:1,9600,FLOW_NONE,PARITY_NO
The problem is that your unit is not fully up to date, so it does not properly support the current APIs. The best option would be to have you upgrade your unit to the new revision of firmware. If this is something you are interested in, feel free to send a request to support@globalcache.com with your shipping information and we can issue you an RMA to have your unit upgraded.
