What is the maximum distance for the IP2IR transmitter cable?

Hi all, I'd like to get an IP2IR for a project of mine and was wondering if anyone knew what is the maximum distance I can run an IR Transmitter cable for that is using the IR output ports on the IP2IR. Would really appreciate if anyone has the answer to this.

I have extended some of mine at least 150' using cat5 twisted pair cable (only necessary to use one pair) and have had no problems.

The power output is something like 1.2 to 3v to blink the IR LED, so depending on the AWG of your cable you could calculate the loss.
