itach flex wifi configuration "Loading..."

Hi,

I am trying to set up the above device, I did a factory reset to start then connected to the device though available wireless networks on my laptop. Then entered http://192.168.1.70 and the browser bar changes to http://192.168.1.70/index.htm and the word Loading... appears in the top right of the screen. And that's how it stayed, I left it for an hour and still no change.

I opened ihelp and it saw the device on 192.168.1.70 and asked to update the firmware, I said yes and after about 2 minutes iHelp crashed. I loaded it up again, it saw the device, this time I clicked configure but received a "Page not found" message in the browser.

Any thoughts on a solution?

  Hi,

  I tried configuring my iTach flex today and had a similar problem (bought it two days ago). Was able to access the main page after connecting to the iTach network via: http://192.168.1.70. However, I cannot see any networks available (and I know they are as my router is working perfectly on other devices).

  What should I do?

  Hi Nicck,

   

  We have discovered a bug on the iTach Flex that causes the Flex not to show any available wireless networks in certain network environments where there are many competing wireless networks.  We do have a fix for this issue that will be included in our 710-2000-11 firmware update.  However in the meantime please e-mail support@globalcache.com and we can send you an alternative provisioning method to get your flex on your network.
