I have both, iTach flex Ethernet and iTachIP2IR.
I have installed the new iTach Flex, went into the management and defined a fixed IP, instead of DHCP.
everything worked fine, and I was able to get into the management console with the new fixed IP. next, I had some issues with my TV power and, so I opened iHelp, to see if there is an upgrade for the firmware. I was notified that there is, and it started the upgrade (though I don't know which device of the two was upgraded).
I got a successful message in the iHelp window that the upload is successful, but got a failure in a popup. current state is that I'm unable to enter the management console from the web.
I can still see it in iHelp, roomie still see it and can connect to it, but no web management. (reboot didn't help).
BTW, what is there a button on the side? what is it for?
