2 Questions:
1. Can you use the splitter cable to control 3 serial port?
2. Are the ports virtual ports on your computer so if you map the iTach serial port to port 8 on your computer. When you send information for port 8 it sends it to the iTach?

To your first question, no, the Flex Link Serial Cable requires all 4 conductors on the Flex Link port, but is therefore capable of hardware handshaking. Currently, the unit will not automatically associate with a computer and become a virtual serial port, but this is possible to do. Currently, we do not supply a piece of software which will accomplish this, but we do point toward a piece of software which is capable of doing this. The FAQ about this is linked below.
