Josh Sherman When capturing the code, you may not be saving the entirety of the command data. If you see multiple lines of command data in the capture window, you can use the Gaps setting in the top right to highlight more IR data. This sends more data to the device, which hopefully will help to trigger the device.

Rich Stein Note that Microsoft uses IR codes uses RC-6. These codes change after each key stroke with dedicated remotes. You can input codes manually going to Remotecentral.com and get the pronto hex codes. Hopefully this helps.

Josh Sherman As a note, for toggling commands (those referenced by Rich) you can take the two versions of the command and stitch them together with a small delay between so as to get the correct version of the code to the device each time without there being enough time between the codes for it to be interpreted as two separate commands. If you need help doing this, feel free to send in both versions of a code and I will detail how you can do this.

Darek Zmigrodzki Yes I have the same problem, exactly the same equipment. My Harmony 650 controls the XBOX no problem, but when I try to learn the codes on my IP2IR they do not work. Code comes out different every time, so I think Rich is onto something. Josh please contact me and tell me exactly how to do what you describe; it's worth a shot!

Rich Stein XBox and Media Center use an infrared code that alternates codes. Power key alternates on and off. I have been using codes with an iPhone app called iMasterControl which is not available anymore. It is very similar to iRule.

This is from the Remote central site, discrete codes. You can use your remote to program, but remember some codes ate paired so you must first get the remote to perform the task on your tv, then hit again and the next code will be what you want to program. Hopefully this helps. I used a pre programmed set of codes which I cannot access from the program I use.

Rich Stein Sorry I missed part of the off command:

Fernando Castillo Hi Josh, I'm running into the exact same problem, any chance you can send me the solution as well.
Thanks in advance!
