I am using an iTach WF2SL (current firmware) and I have no wireless network to connect to. (I know it's odd but it's a strange setup).
I am using an iPhone to connect and configure the device and control the serial output. This is all done using the Adhoc Network. This works perfectly.
My question is can I add and encryption (WEP, WPA,WPA2) to protect the connection, but still remain as an Adhoc?
Is the only solution to add a wireless router and create a network the WF2SL and iPhone connects to?
I know this is probably an atypical use, but it would help a lot as I have power restrictions as everything is run from a battery.
