bang & olufsen beosound IR codes

Hi,

I'm wondering if anybody is successfully using their iTach (I have the WF2IR) to connect to any Bang & Olufsen device?

I have a Beosound1 that I can control using my Harmony fine, but for some reason iLearn isn't picking up any of the IR codes from either the original remote or from the Harmony. I have occasionally managed to pull an IR using iLearn, but when testing it, I get an error message stating it's not a valid IR signal (on iLearn), and the Beosound doesn't respond.

 

If anybody has the IR codes for any of the B&O devices, I'd like to give them a try (I think their codes are pretty universal), I tried searching online but no luck. I'm looking to use it with Homeseer, so I'd need the Global Cache codes.

  I managed to try a sample of the HEX codes of a Beosound 9000, which seemed to work after running them through iConvert, so I'm hopeful.

  OK, success!

  I got all the codes that I need working and confirmed, except for 2 that I can't test since I don't have the time set up for my device (Menu and Red).

  They're pieced together from various B&O HEX files for other devices, but I made sure for example that Volume only increments the standard 2 at a time, and not 6 or 8.

  I've attached the codes, for whomever needs them.

  Hi Robert.  Thank yo for your code file.  However, I'm stumped on how I can get them to work in the RoomieCodes.plist file to load custom devices into the application.  I inserted them as per instructions, but your codes seem to have more information for the itach such as port, etc.

  Would it be possible for you to load your custom .plist doc with the B&O file in there, or quickly explain how to get your file into the application so I can use the commands?

  Robert,

  Thanks so much.  I was so focused on trying to find my solution, that I failed to realize that you could have been using the iTach with something other than Roomie.  So sorry.  I appreciate you digging in an trying to help.  I discovered at about 3am last night, that I could load your codes into the Roomie file by deleting everything in front of the 461000 frequency part.  Worked like a charm.

  That makes sense, because that's the info GC uses to determine the module, IR port, etc. Homeseer swaps that info out also, since you specify it in a global location, glad it worked.
