I want to monitor the status of a HVAC / thermostat using a GC-100 input. The HVAC system is rated at 24VAC but when I measure the voltage with a meter it's usually around 27 VAC. Are there an issues connecting this voltage to an input? What is the maximum safe voltage on an input?
