Asus RT-AC67P Won't See Wireless WF2IR

I have a Global Cache WF2IR device that I can log into the web interface but the router will not show it in the client list. The router has a setting for b/g protection, which is enabled. The newtork settings in the WF2IR match the router. The device has a slow blink on the LED, which I believe means it's connected to the wifi. 
My question is, why would it not show up in the client list? And my HomeSeer software will not recognize it.
